...When typing a code and seeing its effects later you address an existing object and command it to act in a certain way, after which you yourself have to move to its space to see what has happened. By using code you give a validation of autonomy to the final work. And in my case I would say even a physical validation. (05/2008) Large groupshow "Unfinished Business" on contemporary dutch abstact art opening on Thursday at the Kuenstverein Medienturm in Graz. Curated by Jan Maarten Voskuil and myself.
(04/2008) First time showing work solely together with my sister Lynne Leegte in the beautiful Grunerie.
(03/2008) The project in Alexandria has been completed, see the documentation here.
(03/2008) Off to Alexandria, Egypt for a public intervention project involving posters, will document soon.
(02/2008) Visiting Berlin again as from 23rd of February.
(01/2008) Participating in the farewell groupshow of curator Martijn Lucas Smit at the Nieuwe Vide. 'Hello, Goodbye'.

(04/2007) Public work "w139" has been replaced by a new website.
(04/2007) Opening of a soloshow at the Mediaruimte in Brussels, Belgium. The show will contain 5 site specific installations, new adaptations of cassette ceiling, selections, scrollbar and untitled (ornaments). At 21.00 there will be a performance of raster-noton as well as a screening by synken at 19.00.
(12/2006) Opening of the show containing five new installations and scrollbar at ACAF on december the 14th. The show will be on till the 28th.
(11/2006) An article published in the London based magazine 'Varoom', issue number 2. Check it out.
(10/2006) Currently at ACAF (Alexandria Contemporary Arts Forum), Alexandria, Egypt for an Artist in Residence programme, involving a three day workshop on Internet art held for local art students, lectures and a new site specific installation.
(09/2006) A new selection composition is on show at the exhibition "Toekenningen 031" at the Dutch Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture, Amsterdam, NL.
(09/2006) Group show in Reuten Gallery on digital art "Digital Bodies". On show will be scrollbar and a new installation 'selection.
